Monique Lhuillier showcased softer volumes in chiffons, lace, and organza. Her evening pieces were adorned with decadently embellished belts, and accessorized with luxurious skins and silk clutches.

Carolina Herrera
One of America's greatest designers, Carolina Herrera came up with beautiful dresses in hues of red, white, and black with some hints of powder blue and peony. The usual shift dresses were transformed with belts peeking from the pleats. The whole collection speaks of Herrera's precision with design, transforming mod pieces to modern wear.

The Diane Von Furstenberg Show was a major success. DVF's collection of bold pieces in bright colors exuded confidence and strength for Spring Summer 2007 's woman.

Sari Gueron
The shows at the UPS tent are always interesting since UPS chooses a great group of diversity among today's upcoming designers. For Spring-Summer 2007, Sari Gueron came up with sheer maxi dresses and in off-whites and muted greys and pastels. Cinched waists from last season came off and details have mainly focused on the necklines and the hems.

Fall in Red

Red will be the only bright hue contrasting the more subdued greys and olives this Fall.

This fiery red long gown from Bill Blass' Fall Winter collection '06/'07 was also worn by Janet Jackson at this year's CFDA Awards.
